A little bit of both. They did their best since it was suddenly cancelled after Vol 3. Vol 3 ends with chapter 18 and then there is a finale chapter where they give it some form of a conclusion.

Do you know of any other manga like this? I find it funny when a male character starts falling in love with the female version of the MC, kind of like a way for the MC to experience what it's like to stand on the other side, and watch the other boy turn all red and do stupid things because he's super embarrassed.

Honestly, it’s reminding me that there aren’t a ton of Ranma-likes now. When it’s a gender transformation, it’s usually not reversible for a while.

Do you know any works where the male character falling in love with the MC is a recurring theme and not just a joke in a single chapter? Something like Boku Girl?
