this feels like a very old type of shoujo/josei manga, kinda like kaichou wa maid sama; where the ml is a pushy superhuman who won't take no for an answer. even the art style is reminiscent of that.

no he doesn't get better . most of the characters don't even find any fault in his obsessive stalkerish behavior.

and please understand this manga falls under the obsessive yandere genre, and believe it or not, it's quite popular in japan lol. there is an otome game character that ranks so high in popularity polls despite having the heroine of the game locked up in a small cage for the majority of his route. so yeah :/ dont blame the scanlators.
although, i will still read this manga to see if it diverges from the novel or not lol.
