It's actually pretty interesting how it's played out where he has feelings for both but in different ways. With Honoka it's more like the usual crush where he's captivated with her in terms of personality like her kindness, people skills, etc. With Himari after seeing how hard she works and her drive he wants to be her source of support, along with her being someone who seems to open up other opportunities and relationships in his life he wouldn't have had otherwise.

Obviously there's other stuff for each girl too, but it's cool to see that his infatuation for both comes from different places instead of most love triangles where it's just "Yeah both are cute and nice". Makes his eventually decision (probably Himari because of title privileges, although every interaction with Honoka makes me think she has more of a chance) more intriguing with what his rationale is for choosing one over the other.

At least his current thinking about Himaru is slightly better than the BS of previous chapters. Yes, it's believable to admire and maybe even love someone for their hard work. But immediately jumping to "I work hard at house cleaning equals I must be in love with Himari" was right up there with the worst forced plot redirection I've ever encountered in any manga.
