The entire point of this manga is the threat of Sakurako losing to any of the other girls and the chicanery that results. If that threat is removed, either by Sakurako actually losing (and she would consider a harem a losing state, because it would mean Natsuki does indeed have eyes for someone else) or the other girls giving up and moving on elsewhere, then the point of the manga is gone.

This is exactly why I like this manga though, it's weird as hell but they do things that no one else is doing.

I get what you mean, this manga is really weird at times but it's all for the sake of a by the numbers yet subversive punchline.

I can't really think of another romcom that pokes at the genre's tropes like this one does. I'm not sure it it's the right way to say it but it's kinda like an edgy romcom parody.

I still really like it though.
