I said it in like chapter 3 and it's seeming more and more that it is.

My monies even on that shes so worried about it because Yuzu is the heir to the house, but if they figure out she's not his daughter, then Ueda becomes the heir and they get tossed out.

But author will remedy it by having Ueda marry Yuzu.

the other dark haired girl (Shuuka) is Suzu's aunt--she's labeled in her ch2. introduction as the daughter of Omikuni, who's the grandfather. Same with the other boy (Mikiomi). They're both very young looking, but I suspect that'll be explained down the line.
It also helps explain why they all have dark hair, like Kazuomi did, and Suzu has light hair like her mother. They're her aunt and uncle, not her siblings.

Thus, if Kazuomi was the direct head of the house, and not Omikuni, then Suzu would be his direct heir before either of the two siblings. (That is, if we're assuming that Suzu is Kazuomi's actual daughter, and that those readers who accuse Yukari of having had an affair of her own, are wrong.)

I don't know whether the hair color thing is a red herring or not, so I'm not looking to really contribute to the "Suzu isn't actually Kazuomi's daughter" hypothesis.

Mostly just explaining the connection of Shuuka & Mikiomi to the other family members.

Auntie technically and the other young kid is her uncle according to their labeling. It's kind of weird...

But it would go MC dad, oldest brother, that girl middle sister, other boy youngest brother.

MCs Dad has Yuzu(allegedly) and MC.

I think it's more people with hot takes about whatever the "twist" of the series is, coupled with being mad at Yukari for hitting Naoomi this chapter when she found him going through her dead husband's things.

Whether or not it's actually the case for where the narrative's going, remains to be seen.

The idea of "don't the dead have privacy" is ridiculous. He already revealed that he had a hidden child, and he could have written into his will "Burn my diary and don't read it," but he didn't.

IMO the whole point of a diary is so people can read it after you're dead and keeping its contents secret no longer matters. She's hiding shit.

Because deep down she knows that Ueda is the legitimate and recognized son of his father, just like his mother. She is the love of his life, and the mother of yuzu can't handle the reality, which is why she sought pleasure with other men but never forgot her ex, and can't accept that he loved another. That's why she takes it out on Ueda.
