Rapeman, while I don't agree with your views, I think it's not cool that you got censored like that. Clearly this site doesn't respect your work if they just remove pages on their own. You probably should find another place to put up your scans so you don't have to deal with this kind of crap and put in as many offensive jokes as you want.

@ViggoMortenson How is this even censorship? The credits page was removed because it went against the rules, that's all. Nothing else was removed, only that. The chapter is otherwise intact. You're free to go to Rapeman's website and download the chapter there if you really want to see his joke that much. It was stupid, and it did go over the line. The mods were right to have removed the page -- it should have no place here in mangadex. I come here to read manga, not to read some edgy teen's take on current affairs.

I guess this was a bridge too far, and not the fact that his username is RAPEMAN, or the multitude of other edgy jokes on his credit pages. Take chapter 4 for instance, where he implies that all Muslims are literal insects trying to destroy every civilization they infiltrate. Guess that was A-OK for Mangadex's staff. Even chapter 7 has a reference to the events, but its still there.

Edit: Also, there sure is a lot of loli and rape porn for a site that exposes such fine morals.

Firstly, I'm going to make it painfully clear that the immediate following is my own opinion and does not reflect that of mangadex:

I believe RM is a special kind of scum that has no place on our website. His attempt to garner attention by posting edgy alt right political memes is disgusting and vile. I wouldn't shed a tear if he were to never post on MD again. I have even advocated for him to be permanently banned.

/Personal opinion

We try to allow people freedom of expression as best we can within the confines of what we all find to be acceptable. There is a reason, after all, why I as forum moderator allow people a certain level of abrasiveness when talking or arguing with one another.

Staff allowed RM to get away with a lot of things (including his name which I can confirm generated a lot of reports) in the name of personal expression. If he had chosen not to reference an event not even a full week old where dozens of people died because of some terrorist with an axe to grind against Islam, perhaps he would have been able to get away with it once again.

I would like to take this opportunity to remind everyone that ultimately this website is not aimed at generating political discussion. There is Reddit and 4chan for that.

And as for the content we host, we do not discriminate on basis of genre with two exceptions: scat and guro.

Taking a look through that link, it seems like Rapeman got banned and his chapter uploads blocked so I guess Zephyrus got what he wanted. Oh well, hopefully someone else decides to pick up this trash of a manga.

The chapter was taken down by RM for reasons unknown to MD staff. We only removed the offensive credits page and locked RM's chapter upload and chapter delete permissions for 24 hours since he kept attempting to either reupload the same credits page or used the chapter entry to direct people to his website, which is against rule 3.2.6.

Those restrictions have since expired.
