Apologies for necroposting, but you don't have to worry about it being the latter. Chapter 4 and the author already made Hina and Bambi kiss. It's still a bit melodramatic but I doubt the author would betray their audience when they've announced the premise of the manga to be this

Yeah, I saw the chapter 4 raw, but I couldn't really get the gist of what happened, as could be just training or whatever, what I really hope is not the case, as they both seemed very flustered, specially Hina and Bambi seemed to muster a lot of courage to go for it... So, i'm really curious about chapter 4, hope it gets a translation soon. But thanks for the twitter post, I really hope that the author don't go astray with some stupid trends lately on romance mangas.

as a romcom veteran of many series, I can safely say this is not a guaranteed thing.. two characters sharing a peck in one of these more flippant themes, probably spells for drama oozing from the walls by chapter 20, they already set up two time bombs in the first 20 pages of the first chapter, its going to be absolute hell, I'm already betting on FMC dating delinquent guy for at least a few volumes.
