And this is why you attack her from behind.the ultimate weapon

She's drawn like a kid but most of the time the mangaka either don't know how to write how a kid sounds and acts, or they don't care. They're just writing adults.Thank you for the update!
but, hell, shes just a kid and thinks like this? i get that divorce part but, falling in love(?) like legitimately not even adoration.
A lot of adults for whatever reasons forget what a kid "is" or how they think/act and expect kids to be adult-likeShe's drawn like a kind but most of the time the mangaka either don't know how to write how a kid sounds and acts, or they don't care. They're just writing adults.
True but this is really a large issue in a sizeable amount of manga. Most writers should do a better job of researching and approximating (and generally they do in other genres and it's can be better in LNs). At this point you just kind of accept it as part of the genres. If she acted her age this "love triangle" would be even more foolish because she couldn't articulate some deep crush like this. She'd look like the little child she is and people wouldn't have lost their minds when she was introduced a few chapters ago. Next thing you know she'll be monologuing about the meaning of love.A lot of adults for whatever reasons forget what a kid "is" or how they think/act and expect kids to be adult-like

It's fine for something that's not serious like this. It's only an issue for more dramatic stories or when the reader doesn't seem to understand that kids don't actually act this way. As long as we all are in on the joke, it's harmless. Some people aren't though. This is an issue in general but i also think people overreact way too much even for little things
Her character is there to push everyone along. She's not really a threat, she's making everyone consider romance seriously. Besides they clearly did the Omi lovey thing so they'll probably push her with Omi eventually. Thanks for the fast updates!
Also am I the only one who dislikes this whole thing about this kid suddenly having a crush on Hino? Like kid where did you come from gtfo. I bet she will become irrelevant / not important in like 3 chapters at most since there isn't really a point to this crush it's not like she can interfere with Hino X Koguma in any way shape or form.
Hmm.. But the thing is.. in my opinion her romance can't be really considered seriously..? Saying she's just a kid is a bit downgrading her character but that's a valid reason tbh. I personally can't really consider a kid who goes lesbian because of her parents' relationship and suddenly falls in love with a high schooler seriously.. sure I get that Hino helped her when nobody else would but that's not really a reason to fall in love. Also this is just me obviously but in general I think the concept of romantic love is pretty far fetched for a kid especially as young looking as her...Her character is there to push everyone along. She's making others questions things in ways they did not before (this is a mostly standard way these Mangaka do this for whatever reason, introducing a new character this late). I'm only describing the reason the author put her in the story. Whether it's done well is another thing. I'm just saying this is what her purpose will likely be and we already see it affecting three characters (now including Omi).Hmm.. ..I'm taking this way more seriously than I should aren't I?
