Yeah the third wheel character wasn't really good but maybe she's just in these couple of chapters, and then we can get back to more actual progress in their relationship.

You realize that with these kind of stories, if you do not throw a wrench into the status quo nothing would change, right? This is how many gag-love mangas have been born and stuck in an endless cycle of "No progress," and when they do get some, is rushed or completely out of nowhere for no reason.

Now, if you wanted this to become an infinite "Hino does lewds > Koguma gets angry > Hino lewds her more > Koguma agrees to Lewd but under a condition > Lewd happens > Hino-san no Baka! > The end." Then be sad, the author does NOT want that, he actually is making progress albeit small, and for that purpose, breaking the status quo is a must.

Ok i officially hate the 3rd wheel now, ONCE AGAIN 3rd side char ruins the yuri series, like why is yuri series PLAGUED with fucking shit side chars or NTR/CUCK side chars like HOLYSHIT

Third wheel is annoying, but if it helps bring Koguma and Hino closer than it isn't that bad, imo.

It's good to see everyone is all agree in one matter however, please remember that the third wheel we mentioned is playing a very important role. She helps us to lift the curtain that have been hiding a beautiful kind of flower for so long. So I think we should bear with it for a few coming-up-next chapters.

There are probably a point in relationship you will met third person. Hope a entire life you never met a chance to both of you to cheat or have the chance of this risk but your bond remain as strong is better

@yurirei The scene is from the movie "Liar Liar". I remembered the scene so I just looked for "gif oh come on" on google. And it was the first thing that came to mind when I read this chapter.

That being said, I think people are making too much of this. It just a bit of baiting for the next chapter, cliffhangers sell issues.
