im a sucker for summer fun depicted in manga.. coupled with hirotos introspection, i think we're facing a turning point in his journey,, this chapter has become one of my favourites for this series :)) i could alos really feel the authors own feelings in a way? loved this

I have the same struggle irl. What should i do?
Find a better why to go back to doing the thing you're good at (this is advice myself too).

I think more than him realising he doesn't have that passion to create anymore, he realised he doesn't have it for himself. What he has instead is other people, hopefully if he chooses to go back into acting he won't feel so alone anymore knowing that he isn't doing it just for himself, but mostly doing it for the sake of his friends who want and love him when he's doing something he enjoys. Something I feel was always true but a fact he was estranged from during his earlier acting career, which led to his burnout. Man I never thought this would hit this close to home.

I weirdly love the fact we can't really tell for sure which resolution Hiroto has come to.
Me? I think watching Nacchan made him realise that he doesn't have the passion for acting in him anymore.

i'm thinking the next arc will be hiro facing real personal conflict over this. knowing that acting's gone from a passion to a job should he still do it? how will he deal with the reflection of him that is portrayed in glasses-kun's novel? lots of ways this can go, i wasn't sure of the way this was going before but i'm pleasantly surprised.

Thanks for the advice. This chapter, especially the last pages, hit home for me too, cuz I'm living the same life like Hiroto is. I simply got burned out and like Hiroto, had no one to depend on during the burnout phase. Searching for a better why, seems to be the answer, the only problem being, one doesn't know how long it will take.

She has good instincts- you really do make better art if you can try a lot of things out. It's why you need hobbies unrelated to what you're doing.

...aside from being able to go "its for manga, it's for manga!"

Though in my case I get to study manga for my job, heheh.
