did a bit of rereading to make sure, but something else: fighting a two on three or even one on three isn't nearly as hopeless as Akiba made it out to be (with how he's like "pig can't attack me because you need me to win durrrr"). you can control other characters with their respective controllors, so they can set up a minefield with Shibuya's weapon even if Akiba's incapacitated. if the slave is also willing to co operate, they can just put a shield on shibuya and adachi and use their characters to win. if she isn't, knock her out as well and set up as many bombs with shibuya's ability and use that to her advantage by pushing the enemies into them with shields.



And even if winning asap is the best solution it's essentially a 1v4 because Akiba would also be working against her. She can either take Akiba out and fight 1v3 or she can rush in and fight 1v4 versus a stronger player. So even if attacking Akiba would put her at a disadvantage, keeping Akiba in the game would be a far bigger disadvantage.



I know it's a waste of time to point this out but I enjoy doing it anyways: akiba's little torture scheme hinged on Adachi being brain dead and basically doing nothing. Adachi and the pig could have came up with a precaution to knock out akiba early the moment they see him in the game world. Adachi could have kept items from the raid boss she beat a few days ago, something Akiba couldn't play around because he wouldn't know what she picked up, to wipe out her enemies early. even a speed boost or defense boost would be enough to escape the bombs and hopefully get her out of Akiba's range. but we've seen much more powerful effects compared to that (berzerk mode, where she can beat them even if the pig is taken down). Akiba did not even plan around the off-chance the pig freaks out and attacks him, given how he armed himself with a fucking stick, not pepper spray or tazer or knife or an item that can defend himself with, to the game world. the pig just has to grab the arm he's holding his baton with and knock him out/break all his fingers to prevent him from accessing the controllor. not to mention Akiba didn't even make the siscon flinch when he punched with full force, no way in hell would that baton be effective.
