I always though that Nikumaru (Aitsu no kanojo's author and artist) and Tsusumi (Welcome to the Cheap Restaurant of Outcasts's artist) art was preety similar and now they have this oneshot together.

Did they learned to draw together? maybe they were assistant at the same time to other mangaka or something.

This was a nice oneshot even if people may not like the age gap. What I found funny is that she did a glow up & she's also in high school but has her own apartment in preparation for their encounter. I would like this to get a serialization but the author is already doing a title that people have mixed feelings for. Regardless, hope this duo will do a serialization together in the future & thanks for the translations.

Well... This is preferable to Aitsu, a serialization would be interesting.
As much as I like that, it is an absolute trainwreck that I can't stop reading since I'm already committed & it hasn't done anything REALLY bad to make me drop it yet.

I didn't notice it until I read this since I was convinced it was the author's but man they do have similar art styles. Good eye.

Yeah, it's a little "Higehiro", but I love that one so.. Eh.

Aitsu... Ugh... Started with potential, now just a mess. I keep hoping for a meteor to take all 4 of them out... Though then I'd be denied answers, which is why I keep suffering through it. There's so many "bad" routes, and so very very few "good" ones (good and bad with regards to making sense and not being asinine, not necessarily a "happy" ending).

Though, if this Oneshot got serialized, I'd be concerned it would get twisted too much like Aitsu, which would be exceedingly disappointing.

Forgot about Higehiro but that's a great comparison. I agree with what your saying but you also gotta factor in that this was done by a duo so maybe Tsumumi sensei might be able to rein in that behavior & the story can be maintained. You never know but I'll definitely give it chance if it does get serialized.

That was actually enjoyable for me. I loved the "destined" feeling of them meeting again after all those years. I trust that she actually told him the truth in the end. I'd hate it if she kept that secret for no good reason after all those years.

I wouldn't mind seeing this serialized, as long as it doesn't have the same eyebrow raising shenanigans as Nikumaru's other work with Aitsu no Kanojo...

Two mangaka working side by side... One occasionally hitting the other with a stick "No! Bad! It needs to make sense and have characters the readers can empathize with at least a little!"

page 4: "I can't believe what happed to me today." Shouldn't it be happened?

A few corrections would also be nice, but otherwise it's fine.

Ah, no wonder her eyes spell trouble.
