@caramelchocobo it's a rather common kind of horror ending; you're supposed to imagine what happens next. What you imagine is usually more horrifically than what is shown.

@SirAutimo Oh I know, but it didn't really feel like they gave us much to work off of.

The child barely did anything on-panel, so telling us to be scared of a little boy and imagine him doing horrifying things to the heroine doesn't really work. IMO it would have worked better if it had ended with the mom calling her a liar instead of continuing on to try and scare us more.
