I think the biggest issue here is that there are too many characters. Even multiple looks for the same people. Similar looks for different characters. Some are alive who are thought to be dead, others are named background characters who may have a sentence every 5 chapters, but are expected to be remembered as if they were the MC. And there is a staggering lack of smooth transitioning between different POVs and times.

I get the feeling this would be way simpler if you were to just binge read the entire thing. As far as I know, there ight be about 4 characters who I actively remember being significantly relevant chapter to chapter. The rest seem to be more or less filler characters who handle the sparatic world building.

also i know what you mean by bad flow, they were just going over the plan on how to interact with arshtel and almost immediately on the next page they are already talking casually with her.

Anyone wondering about the art style, the artist is changed from Yamaneko Suzume to Matsunami Rumi after going on a 5 - 6 months of hiatus, though I'm not sure if it's a complete replacing or not.

Well for someone who have the Novel i can saythe pacing in this one indeed bad, some story kinda jump all over the place the main reason is in manga we hardly get multiple POV compared to novel, well in latter part this kinda minimize thought some still stay

@stal2walk around the time she was sheltered in the dungeon, instead of him getting closed, you can say that he is a prey aimed by the carnivore princess.

Him getting promoted to marquis is just so that he is in a high status enough to marry her. Also, there are political scheming behind the promotion, getting him under the control of the country. It's because he's a damn dungeon master and possessed great capibilties, instead of confronting him at the risk of suffering great losses, it's better to monolopize and make use of him. Of course information about him being a dungeon master is kept secret between the royalties and their trusted.

Despite that the princess doesn't really care about it (the political stuff), she just takes the iniative to seize a husband for herself. She is described at a battle maniac, and while she is quite capable of dealing with the politics and royal tasks, she dumped it all on her big sister - the first princess and persue her own ideal. She will only recognize a capable person as her husband, hence she declared that only those who defeated her could marry her. And although Yuki didn't quite beat her, at the time at the dungeon she realized that he is a special existence outside that world that could smash any of the common senses there. She knew that it is the once-in-the-lifetime chance so she made sure not to miss it.

And they indeed got closer at the time in the dungeon. She made him assist/serve her while bathing, meaning he already saw her naked already.

Of course there were disagreements about that, but I bet no one dared to make a fuss after what just had happened. Minor dispute and despising can be seen as the consequences, but upper rebellion plans only came much more later as he gained more and more favors and achievements.
