The map answer all of my question, orc country is based on the North German Confederation this explains the non-standardize uniform, the elf nation being set in Poland or maybe the Russian region of Poland, explains the two-finger salute, now I think the dark elves are based on the Poles, the Russian and Polish ethnic grouping are of the same branch, the slavs, now this will explain why there are dark and white elves.

after i saw the map of the Orcsen Empire i thought this was just pre Franco-Prussian war Prussia that already dealt with the war in Austria
then i realized it was pre-second Schleswig War Prussia
and then i looked at the specififc shape of Elfind
