It’s a very nice story paired with good art. The main villain is pretty unlikable and it is very much on the nose with its anti-nuclear energy stance.

I understand where this is coming from, as 3/11 was a very tragic event. I don’t want to make light of it or undermine it, but it’s as if an American comic had a whole comic series based on 9/11 and the creation of the TSA.

I mean, they don’t cover any issues aside from shutting down nuclear energy. It has a strong premise, but does go hard on this one issue.

The anti-nuclear narrative doesn't make sense. But to be fair, you should not based your take on nuclear on a Japanese manga.

the nuclear thing is not exactly anti-nuclear power itself, it's a commentary on real life japanese politics and government lobbying, specifically the general intrigues of the political camp which in both this story and real life happened to be proponents of the nuclear reactor restarts. look up "japanese nuclear village" - the scanlation team also made a reference to it in chapter 24.

Why the reincarnation tag? I mean sure she will get reincarnate but not a single reincarnation has happened in the story at all. Still its a great manga.
