This chapter is great BECAUSE the fight was so anticlimactic. If she's an Hitokiri then she needs to be wiping the floor with people, especially this early in the story and against edgy tryhards like this guy. He only survived earlier because she was injured and didn't have her weapon. It'll be that much more impressive once she actually faces an opponent that gives her some trouble later in the story.
