I had completely forgotten about the debuff - or is it a lack of a bonus that comes from being alone? The outcome is the same I suppose. Its a cruel skill condition for anyone other than a natural loner.

That'd be some shit lol. Don't think I came across an Isekai with that happening
I've seen parts of that idea before, but not the whole thing.

Yondome wa Iya na Shizokusei Majutsushi has the MC (and later, other characters) reincarnate twice but when the MC gets reincarnated he actually was made even weaker. (I'm not sure about the other characters, but they were at least as strong as they were before, if not stronger)

Tsuihousareru Tabi ni Skill wo Te ni Ireta Ore ga, 100 no Isekai de 2-shuume Musou has an MC who gets a new power every time he gets isekai'ed and does so intentionally, but it isn't a reincarnation story (he just leaves the world and enters a new one).

This has been largely glossed over by the manga, but in the LN

He's been accumulating so many OP skills that the blowback has been absolutely destroying his body for a while now.

Even back in the LN equivalent to ch192, he was resorting to using a skill to puppeteer his body to dance with everyone, and when he got to Nefertiti, "I got beat up pretty badly keeping up with Dancer Girl... My body was tearing itself to shreds the whole time we danced together."

he was well aware he was operating far beyond his limits, so he'd been seeking out gear, mostly VIT+ stats, that could take even some of the load off, and what he was able to get his hands on was not keeping up with his skill growth at all.

He just needs to have the Fury status on him and then take hits. It worked for me in FF7! :D Oh sure, you take a lil more dmg, meh.

oh yeah.. forgot he got that skill.. lol
makes sense.. lately he's been weaker.. even using lots tactics instead of usual bulldozing OP MC..
this series is pretty consistent which i really like..

Consistent except for MC being a "loner". He's doing a lot of networking and socializing for someone who keeps calling himself one. The crisis stuff I completely understand, but other times its "I'll make the girls new clothes plus swimsuits!" or "I'll create an entire waterpark for my classmates!".

Feels like maybe the author made a mistake by having "Loner" in the title if they wanted to take MC in this direction.
