@biribiri What is the justification for your chapter-numbering? Surely the chapter-numbering should just be aligned with the day-numbering and the non-day chapters should be decimal-chapter-numbered. Also, even if we are disconnecting the chapter-numbering from the day-numbering and making everything integer-chapter-numbered, that doesn't justify resetting the numbering per volume. There's nothing to suggest that at all.
