Well… I thought I found a nice old manga. I’d seen the covers of volume 7 and 8 before, but I decided to give it a shot anyway. And yep—turns out the mess really starts in chapter 30, completely ruining the sweet romcom vibe it had going from the beginning. And the last chapter was uploaded like 7 months ago, so honestly… I’d be kinda glad if the publisher just dropped it for good.

Because normal people aren't at risk of getting their fucking heads chopped off, but ARE at risk of getting cheated on. Not that hard when you think about it. Most war vets don't like watching war movies.

Ts lk ruined my night. So skimmed the vol 7-9 summaries and I skipped to the final volume of the raws and MTLd some of it. I'll attach the important panels below. But ig she grows a pair at some point and actually prevents herself from getting assaulted for once. Volumes 7, 8, and 9 are her getting emotionally manipulated and blackmailed + SAd, but the mangaka tries really really hard to make it look like she liked it (hence the 4/10 rating). But anyway, after she fucking stabs herself in the thigh to prevent the black-haired guy from rping her, he 'allows her to leave'. She then runs over to the blond male lead and confesses her love to him before they fuck again. They end up living together in the end. I'm less mad about her being 'unfaithful' even tho half of it was forced, and they were never together in the first place. Plus, the male lead sleeps around anyway, so it's fair game ig.
