Sniping might suck, but I'd have been even more of a scumbag to walk in and ask that you kick off your TS to let me do it. At least now I've demonstrated what I can do and how fast I can work on my own.
And sure, I'll ask nicely:
Do you want my help? I know I might have come off strongly, but I truly did this because I love this damn manga. It could look a lot better than it currently does, and I want to see this series look it's best. I don't even want to be on the credits page, I like my privacy. I just want everyone to get to read Hodoite with top tier editing.
I can literally do everything but TL. I'm also down to go back and re-TS/RD chapters 1-7.

Thats asking nicely? Your ts is better than the people you sniped but there's still room for you to improve. Feel free to stop acting high and mighty. If your only concern is the quality of the final product sniping right out of the gate from your point of view is not unreasonable, but expecting to make some sort of consolations after sniping and insulting the other group is dumb. You already chose to snipe. You could've done some QC and gave the other typesetter pointers. This could have been a win-win. That said, you make some of the same mistakes in your typesetting that the other group did. To be clear, their typesetting is not great, but your attitude is funny considering your skills. Learn how to use a lowercase font before you lecture anyone else about font selection. @anonymousan i'd be willing to qc for you and/or give your typesetter some pointers if you're interested and still want to work on this. I've got experience with qc, writing and editing.

Thanks for the offer, but we decided to drop the series indefinitely. If he keeps pushing out chapters with the same speed and quality, there's no point uploading a second chapter a week later just to have our version too. We are a chill group, and from the beginning we decided not to rush and not to put the pressure of a deadline on any of us. That said, we're watching him.
You can still hang out with us if you'd like, although we have more staff members than series at the moment.

It is, but speaking as the father of a little girl, it's really childish. I can understand the strong impulse you get to protect your child from the dangers of the world and women in particular face a lot of dangers that men do not, and particularly when it comes to dating and romance. But that doesn't justify acting like an asshole and intimidating every man that comes near your daughter. Nobody will be happy from that, and all you're gonna end up doing is pushing your daughter away from you and probably putting her in more danger since she won't trust you enough to tell you who she's seeing. It's ironic, because it's usually portrayed as big, strong men doing this, but the action originates from an inability to cope with fear, so it's really a very cowardly thing to do.
