Thank you for the translation! I'm really glad to see this one being worked on again.
Raizou is steadily becoming a mixture of things I (personally) hate: he's frivolous, sees and does everything superficially, hates old things, uses texting/ email in a creepy way, is the in-your-face outgoing type, and insists on giving nicknames to people he barely knows. Yet somehow, even though he's supposed to be a kind of good guy, he hasn't ruined the series for me. That's talent (thank you, Azusa-sensei)
While I do hope that Riku develops a bit more backbone (character development), she's fun regardless. Fushimi is refreshing too, since he's not dense in the typical way and he has other alternative takes on typical tropes — I wonder how he'll develop. Both of them (and their relationship), really. As for Raizou, he can quickly go realize he doesn't have a snowball's chance in Hell and learn from all that (maybe even help the shy cute ones along while he's at it… although that is probably asking for too much).
Three cheers for old things! (Old dusty bookshops are the best! You know, the compact type, with books going all the way up to the celling, narrow aisles, those stepladders on rails, and that cozy not-quite-cramped feeling of space. Hopefully there are a few reading areas in which you can spread out a little more here and there to take a better look at the books. Otherwise, there's always the floor.)
