Lol, so here's my unpopular opinion on this series, I thought it was nice to see a relationship survive cheating. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely despise cheating, but every situation is different. Every couple is different, and I think it is hard to really say how we all would react unless we're put in the exact set of circumstances.
I think Jun really did learn a lesson here, that's why I don't begrudge his happy ending too badly. He reacted poorly throughout the situation at different points, but I do think now that it's all over he reflected on it critically. Thats why I think he accepted Rina's revenge so easily. He knew with the type of person she was, he wasn't coming out unscathed and frankly I think he was just relieved that the brunt of her final revenge was placed solely on him and not Azu/Nanaka. But, that was what Rina needed to move on: To get the last word, which even if childish if that's all she wanted to feel like she "won", Junpei was ready to let her "win" if it meant being done with the whole thing and not hurting Azu any more than it had. Which, does take a bit of maturity and big picture thinking. Sometimes it's better to "lose" the war than to keep fighting.
Rina I'm a little iffy on her ending. I never really felt she deserved full custody of the kids, for the children's sake rather than her's (granted I never, EVER, felt Wataru deserved it either and if it had to be one of the 2, I would have picked Rina). I do think she got off too easy with how batshit crazy she went. Full disclosure, I'm not 100% certain on my translation during that confrontation with the in laws. I'm pretty sure though that she did demand that 200 mil in alimony (which I laughed at because idk much about Japan law but fat chance getting alimony at all when you were the one who ended the marriage.) and I thought that was just a fucking slap to the dick. She got to have her revenge and then have someone else pay for it. But again, sometimes it's better to lose than to keep fighting. Fine, she gets her revenge with no further consequence. It's over at least and everyone can just move forward with life.
I also agree with gorarachnidlaser down there, yall are really underestimating the hardship of being a single parent with no real support network. Yes, she gets to be with her kids and that's a happy ending in and of itself, but her life is going to be significantly harder from here on out. Hopefully, that keeps her busy enough to not go full psycho again lol. I am happy that she was able to move past this. I know a lot of people who allow shit like this to fester, and they spend the rest of their lives dwelling on it and it's just not healthy for anyone. She got her closure, albeit in a shitty way, but it's closure none-the-less. It doesn't excuse her actions, but I have always been sympathetic to her home life. Wataru was abusive, and I believe it was hinted at that he was not just abusive mentally/emotionally. I know how bad that can fuck a person up, feeling trapped in that situation. Frankly, because of this, I'm almost hesitant to call what she did cheating. The love was long gone in their marriage, if he wasn't the way he was I'm sure she would have left him ages ago but I think she was too afraid to.
