No it's that there should be a limit to the stupidity of mankind. We may not directly be providing for this author but the truth is if we're reading this someone else is as well. Which just enables this terrible level of story telling to exist.

Plot is basically nonsense. Events are random nonsense. Common sense logic doesn't exist (auction heavenly treasure for a token you can't use/useless garbage, speeds up tournament /change rules, own team trying to force him to lose when they invited him)
