I don't seem to find why he was so moved
Is he resolved with it? By his previous words, I don't think so.
I may have to re-read this chapter multiple times before I get it right.
Full of wounds, he wasn't a coward, but sad, so sad...
He was alone. That girl finding him that night, what did she mean by giving him the cross? I can take the "carrying the cross" metaphor just like Jesus says on the book Matthew and the other gospels. She was done with her life? I'll be back.

Alright-
I'm a little dumb, lol.
Looking at the previous chapter:
So basically she passed on her cross to him. It's sad that the finding herself here meant something darker than simply relating to izawa. She was too sensible, she couldn't bear the pain izawa has throughout all these years.
So she passes the cross down to him, because he can still fight. Despite crying everyday but not stopping. I think that is an allusion to Psalms 30:5 ("weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning")
His morning was yet to come. I'm sad she couldn't be there for longer, just like the priest said, she was weak at heart, she could not bear it as she herself said.
"You can still find It, your-" I think there isn't really a need to completing that here.
The meaning for his fighting, the reason he's able to go through all that.
She found it. Herself.
And what about masaki?
He's also found it, himself.
I guess that was all to prove he isn't the coward he thought he was.
But that also comes in kinda tricky since we see him on the early chapters saying he still can't like himself. He was waiting for kamishiro and everyone, like he said, just like that girl was waiting for him.
Masaki was the reason that girl found herself, sort of. And kamishiro is the reason masaki will also find himself, above having understood that he isn't that coward (I'm gonna be so pissed if it all turns out to me babbling and it's a different plot...)
I'm excited for seeing masaki graduating from the streets, I really am.
That's beautiful.
