This manga does have it's cheesy moments but this is just too much right now. Tears were streaming down his face for a half ass speech and now this thing about him and his buddies not being "fake". This manga isn't as good as I remembered it but it sure is fun.

@Plain_Jane as well as the standard shonen fair of him being helpless against King at the beginning, figuring something out, then King showing his 'true form'

Yeah well, this manga makes a point of being about teens. I think it's intended to have stuff from both shonen and seinen.
