Wtf he must really trust this guy. I can't help but feel like the fact that his reputation is built upon slicing up defenseless people should be his darkest secret or something. Especially considering he made it out to look like he did it all himself. Unless people respect that for some reason?

Also if he got expelled why did the school "fall into his hands" exactly? Why would they care about him if he didn't even attend the school after that? I guess its implied these guys skip class most of the time but still I would assume they would want you to at least "belong" to the school.

Nope, he can just come and go as he pleases. His reputation gives him that authority you see.
It's baffling, but if it worked, it worked. Not like we care about what the people with actual authority in his school thinks about the situation.
