Apparently the only way to read those chapters is through a phone app. There's a reason why I have a computer and why I consume digital media. Forcing me to read it on an app on phone (or messing around with an emulator), with a greatly inconvenient interface, isn't going to make me want to read it there if I can help it.

Yep. Pretty much all this. Except...

If there is an official site that I can read, I always, and I really mean ALWAYS, read it on the official to support the authors and avoid any cancellations of works that I enjoy reading.

Do you mean "Official" as in the original country of origin for the publication? Or "Official" as in the officially licensed distributor of the translated version?

If it's the second... I'm sorry, but "Official Translations" DO NOT count this way.

This is because in most cases, licensing agreements are done for a set price - there is absolutely no accounting whatsoever for the number of reads or "likes" an officially translated version gets, or even the number of hardcopies sold.

If you really want to support the mangaka and authors, and encourage the publisher to continue publishing the title, you need to "read" and "like" the title on the original publisher's website, and, if possible, purchase the original version published in its country of origin. These are the ONLY figures that count as far as Japanese publishers are concerned.

Yes. Mangaread has progressed far beyond what's here, and the quality is quite decent. They have a habit of editing out the group's barker page though, so it's hard to tell who actually did it, unless they also include their logos in some of the pages.

And the ....decent.... aggregators tend to stay clear of obvious copyrighted ripped material...
