Wait no I’m confused. What she did sounds like the exact opposite of evolution. Mingling outside of your gene pool is what allows a species to gain the necessary mutations, resistances, and everything else they need to continue evolving. Had the elves tried to remain pureblooded, they would have eventually had to inbreed and regardless would have very little resistance to other diseases. Though, this is all assuming the elves are more like a different race than a different species. However, if they were a different species that means they cross-bred which has its own set of problems and generally shouldn’t be possible between most different species (like usually the offspring is born infertile and that’s the end of that). Oh wait. Magic existences and this is an isekai world and using science and logic doesn’t work here. Silly me. I am disappointed that the mc had a similar line, but the author didn’t take the chance to explain it or have a conversation or expand on that one line at all.

Also is this succubus problem gonna be like a micro problem that can be solved in the next part or take more that? Because honestly, I’d rather get back to them making a farm. And did Elena know about Karen since we first met her and NOT alert everyone she met since then? I mean it feels like the type of thing you’d tell everyone and maybe not wait until she’s already taken over practically the whole town and shut down the guild.

That kind of sallet usually comes with a separate lower plate that protects the lower part of the face and the neck.
The guards are also missing couters to protect their elbows.
It's pretty close though.

A gambeson would have been probably easier to draw and they would still be "properly equipped".
