Normally I'm very against student-teacher romances due to the difference in authority, regardless of short age gaps, but here both parties have shown a good level of maturity and power balance that I don't feel uncomfortable with it.

Yeah, going by the divide-by-2-and-add-7 rule it would definitely work. If they're 6 years apart, then the majority of society would accept their relationship when he's 26 and she's 20. It's not like they have to keep a secret until then tho.

Homura is 26 (see chapter 8) and Hasumi is a first year in Japanese high school (see chapter 13), so is 15-16 years old.

I hope Hasumi and Homura's relationship remains as it is right now. As a female student myself, romantic progression with this age difference would make me very uncomfortable, and would probably force me to drop the series. A post-graduation relationship, however, would not be such a problem for me.

So far this manga has been very sweet and non-pervy, so I will continue to translate it.

IMO the best outcome would be the two of them dating only after she graduates and turns 18, just like in Gal Gohan. Pre-graduation relationships should be left to doujins/ecchi where they belong.

Here's to hoping it stays sweet and non-pervy, both for the story's sake and the translation's sake lol.
