Friendly reminder that all your gacha games wil die soon
Luckily they still own the png's (in reality 3d models with rigging and animations and voice lines) they gambled for. So if the games shutdown and you lose access and the seller refuses to provide you with the files, you can still appeal to your country's consumer-ombudsman/-committee. Because they can't just steal nor even "merely" vandalize something they have sold you (and yes, winnings from lotteries are still counted even though it wasn't exactly sold so much as won from the ticket they sold).

Well, technically, it's not a dream but an illusion, so Link's journey really did happen inside the Widfish's dream. You read about it in the Face Shrine.
I get that, but he literally wakes up still adrift at sea as if none of it ever happened. Just to see the Windfish flying away and Marin getting her wish to become a seagull. I think I wouldn't have hated it so much if the Windfish didn't just leave Link floating on his broken raft while flying away. After Link went through this whole adventure to wake him up.

Maybe if I went back to play it again I wouldn't hate it so much. I was a kid when the original came out and I had it on the fat Gameboy.

I really liked the game as a kid, but I played the DX version that was released for the Game Boy Colour in 1998. But then again i haven't played a Zelda game i didn't like with the exception of Skyward Sword (it was the Wii controllers that made me dislike it) And the latest game Echoes of Wisdom, I really didn't care for the game mechanics.

interesting if a 'server shutdown' would affect her. rare for series like these for them to 'return'/wake up but it's nice at least one classmate was concerned if not some class rep doing it outta obligation or some ex-friend/semi-distance acquaintance looking down on her and just visiting to feel 'superior' or so but it'd be interesting if she could go back and forth if not like split her subconsciousness or so lol

In case it wasn't obvious, this is very much dependent on country. You need to live in a country with decent customer protection laws, and laws ensuring that you can't unknowingly (or even knowingly) sign away your protections.
