It's not a vendetta against TS stories as much as it's pointing out how unrealistic they often are and taking it to it's extreme opposite.
Not saying it's necessarily a good hook for a story, but it's a nice trope reversal.

You need to wake up, and see the cold harsh truth, where the majority of people out there were skeptics who didn't believe lots of stuffs, especially with things like "gender swap".

Like, you expect people to easily believe when some random girl suddenly appeared in front of them, and tells them that she's their friend/relative, despite the person that they know is a guy?

So in that situation, the chances are (sorted from the most unrealistic first):

1. The girl is telling the truth
2. The girl is lying for bad purposes
3. The girl is an obsessed stalker
4. The girl is having a mental disorder

The part bad about magical transition stories is when the mc is never given knowledge about being able to nonmagically transition back to their gender if they were cisgender before. Still, the protagonists are for the most part either gender apathetic, or would probably have been nonmagically transgender, or they can't put dealing with gender on first priority because of plot.
I just hate the mangas where the person's "friends" force them to be cis. What's ironic is how transphobes do this IRL to trans people and it actually happens to a former cis person, showing the real hardships of "putting up with assigned gender".
