Frankly, you'll have to read the LN. Also there is actually no Manga adaption of Part 5 as of now. So the LN is the only way to know what's going on. I suppose you prefer it when the protag and their love interest have 10 years in difference in mental age. As opposed to both being of equal mental age and maturity. smfh

Lol let me get this straight. The synopsis says its for people who've read Part 5 Volume 6. Then you admit to being an anime/manga only, ie you have no idea what's going on. Then you tell people you dropped the series because of a brain dead reason... It begs the question. Why are you here? Why did you read this? Why did feel compelled to write something so lacking?

Gotchu fam, though considering how far into part 5 this is I doubt the manga RAW even reach that far yet.
Quick context on what happen is that Rozemyne accidentally find herself as the closest person to being Zent.
However she's blocked by a barrier that only allows people registered as royal family to enter.
So the royal family want to just adopt her, registering her as a royal family member and get their hands on Grut through her.
She manage to delay the plan for a year to give time for transitioning and preparations.
This scene is Elvira and Myne having a heart to heart talk inside a hidden room (that they just made like a few minutes ago, since until now there was never a need for it)
which includes Elvira revealing that she's known for a loooooooong time now that Myne was commoner and how much Elvira is grateful for Myne's influence in her life.

Bruh, you clearly haven't read the Light Novel of the mind-reading scene!
And BTW, if someone is in these comments, you should know by now that the mind-reading tool involves mana dye-ing which is sexual to nobles:
Myne didn't hesitate to have her mind read because she only saw it's convenience and not the implications and consequences. Ferdinand was hesitant to do that to young Myne, but he knew he had to read her mind to protect the country from any potential threats in her powerful ideas/imagination/mind.
During the mind reading, in the Light Novel, Myne remembered taking a bath as Urano, with Urano's adult woman body! Myne reasoned "This body is already dead so i don't care if you see it". Ferdinand was very upset but endured to learn more. (He probably already knew women's bodies from his studies and/or his different upbringing in Adalgisia as revealed in part 4 volume 9)
The tipping point for Ferdinand in the mind-reading was Urano's deep grief at not being able to say goodbye to her mother.
After the mind-reading (considered a sexually intimate activity by nobles), Myne suggested that he read her mind again sometime (in ignorance of what she was asking). Ferdinand of course refused and gave the reason that he cannot handle her emotions.
THAT IS A HEALTHY RELATIONSHIP!
it's weird and also imbalanced and awkward in ways only made possible by it being fictional. But it is WHOLESOME.
This is more reasonable even than
Rudeus x Fitz/Sylphy, heck this is way more like Rudeus x Roxy given that their mental age is the same.
and when you learn why Ferdinand was interested in Myne, it's so wholesome you can't help but be overwhelmed with joy. It's perfect and you're shallow for just seeing the surface. Furthermore the relationship between Ferdinand and Aub Alexandria (Rozemyne) is more in accordance with modern standards than the old standards of this Earth. So grow up and stop seeing perversion everytime a reincarnation isekai has romance!!!
