Yeah as if, someone that greedy for books would surely waste the chance to make big money while being poor like that, sounds really logical.
Family living in the dirt? Who cares. Nobles running rampant among the poor? Doesn't matter. Rapists in the church? What's that?
It's really starting to get ultra forced, how the author keeps having Myne throw her chance of becoming wealthy out of the window...

Some may see her wastefulness of the chance to get rich and profit immensely as foolish, but honestly, she’s already well on her way with the Myne bookshop and Italian restaurant. I personally wouldn’t want too many things on my plate at once; when would I get to have time to enjoy life? I’m pretty sure it won’t be long until she repays her family with great profit and a more comfortable life.
