When presented with contracts binding their loyalty to Trauerqual, they could not sign because of their oaths to Mestionora before anyone else and were thus executed. Solange was spared because she is a mednoble from Klassenberg, which was a major backer of the winning side and the is first-ranked duchy and was therefore never under suspicion.
