ah... her ignorance about her position is so annoying, at least the priest is there to force a wake-up to her.

Very good, this chapter does a bit more to show the difference in understanding that Myne has towards the situation than the Head Priest.

He is willing to do what is necessary for the end result, and is pushing Myne to adapt to said mindset as well even if makes her personally feel "bad", because if she doesn't more orphan would get hurt and everything she has built up till now would crumble.

Excellent timing. I’m literally two chapters behind this scene in the LN and couldn’t wait to see what happened to the mayor. I wasn’t expecting it to go this dark but seeing Main put that brat in his place certainly made me feel better.

A bit of confusion in the translation, the pronouns, among other things.
For ex: when Myne asked what was his crime in the end, Ferdinand should’ve replied "HE disputed your/the orders." The subject wasn’t Rozemyne but the Mayor.

Well, japanese and its omission of pronouns 🤷‍♀️

I find the use of 'princess' a bit jolting. To try and clarify things, Rozemyne is the adoppted daughter of the archeduke. So Lady Rozemyne.

There are royals in this story and we have gotten mention of them.

We might get to meet a princess though.

Thank you for the translation.

Translator doesn't seem to actually be looking at the pages. No clue who's speaking. Also we still can't figure out names?

On the one hand, happy to see the translation. On the other...please please please spellcheck at a bare minimum. It's not like you don't have the tools for it.

Translating hight Nobility is tricky, because of all the subtle local differences, but the daughter, adopted or not, of an Archduke is a Princess, and sons Princes...

Archdukes/Grand Dukes are, very much, Royalty in their own right.

The thing about Rosemyne is that she is adopted into high nobility. If her family were "merely" ducal she'd have to be adressed as "your grace", but she's much higher up the food chain, so it's "princess". "Lady" is several rungs lower.
In her position as High Priestess, she'd be addressed as "Her Eminence". Depending on whether people were talking to her as a priest or a high noble.
The only people who would address her as "Lady" would be people who are very intimate with her ( like her attendants ) in private if she allows it.
And Oiks who don't know proper etiquette, but they don't count as they're commonors who can't be expected to know better anyway.

Where I understand your logic, in the case of Yogurt land I do not think it applies. From the light novels and translated manga she and all noble women are Lady.

The only one who receives a title that is different is the Archduke himself (Aub Ehrenfest) or royalty. Prince or princess X.

The king however is Zent.

It depends on which exact terms the japanese source uses, really.
Could well be WN/LN translators decided to avoid the whole hot mess of crosstranslating proper address and simply went with "Lady" as a "safe" alternative.

Ultimately wrong, but it does dodge some nerdy bullets.. ;)
