I get that Kyosuke is quite entertaining and all that, but, to me, there's a vibe like he's a big reason why Kyoko turned out so violently reactionary and emotionally unstable/vulnerable. He's why she's been so much trouble to get close to for Miyamura. So, yeah, even though he helped speed things up here and now, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad in the first place if he was a better father to her earlier in her life. Arguably being so friendly now doesn't make up for whatever made her be like this. As they say, the damage is done.
I mean, we don't know the why of his involvement, specifically, but considering how Kyoko is reacting to her own dad, there's clearly bad blood. Souta seems happy, but he's probably too young to know why Kyoko reacts so harshly to their dad. Same for Yuriko, her mother, to an extent... I mean, she doesn't seem like she's about ready to throw punches, but I feel like she's reacting coldly in her own way. But maybe that's more to do with the fact he's almost never home, so it was more just shock for her, I dunno...
