Because the Kurans, and maybe others, are using their religion as a tool to unify people. The religion makes those pointy-eared folks (in Shalta and Kilhina) to be associated with demons. This is a simple, elementary trick, as old as civilisation itself, to unite your people against a common foe. Shantila empire used to rule a vast area of land in the past, but it was beaten in a war by the Kurans, leaving only Shalta and Kilhina to represent the old culture. The rest of the continent fell under Kurans and the new religion. So, you might also say this war is but a continuation of the one fought long ago. Too bad Shalta didn't take things seriously, but that's how it often happens.I have to wonder, why did they start a crusade against them?
He had a job before becoming a gaming neet before he died. I give the guy a 50% chance to know two of the three ingredients of gunpowder, the rest and the ratios you can probably figure out with trial and error. What matters is that you know such a thing was possible for people in pre-industrial times. Radio is pretty far fetched, but high school physics knowledge of what an inductor and capacitor and resonance are gets you halfway there. Steam engine is easy since there’s no unknown phenomena behind its operation, it’s all just materials science in the accuracy of the bore and the efficacy of the seals. This isn't Dr. Stone speedrunning civilization. What I mean is he had no in-depth knowledge, therefore no instant success in recreating those modern inventions. Even with one or two pointers, it still takes time to do experiment -- and time is what they don't have here. War is already knocking at their door, you think the enemy will wait for him building up strength to counterattack? He had a job before becoming a gaming neet before he died. Surely there’s something in his 30 or whatever years of life that would be useful. I prefer it not being so, but if you’re not going to have isekai knowledge feature at all, why make it a damn isekai in the first place? We have paper knowledge, and the knowledge of the existence of the Americas, that’s it.
nah. while its going to be long story, time wise its quite short. so nothing that advanced will happen.go go gadget gunpowder
