The question I have about Kirara is whether she's from an alien species that is essentially human with one or two appendages (i.e. like the Oni in Urusei Yatsura except with Kirara's species having floating star antennae instead of horns) or whether her species can alter their appearance to look human on Earth but, on their own home planet, they look far more alien?

I want to be more excited for this, but then I recognized the mangaka and remembered how much of a disappointment their last work Multiverse Me was.

I'll give this a shot until about the end of the first volume, but I'm not going to have my hopes too high this time.

Kids used to lie to each other and believe each other all the time, and I'm sure they still do.
Think of all the schoolyard rubbish we'd talk about when talking about pokemon, like people claiming they caught mew, or people claiming they know what new pokemon are coming (Bluechu, lol), or even people claiming that pokemon were real and they've seen them.

So the idea that two kids would come to hate each other because one doesn't believe the other saw aliens seems ridiculous to me.
