I work in an office full of engineers (myself included, despite originally being a "normal" scientist) and surprisingly many have a decent fashion sense (me not included, because I don't give a fuck). But yeah, it's probably still the exception.

For practically the whole series I've been trying to nail down what specifically I find particularly fun about her character design. Sometimes I thought it was the oversized coat, but I think what does it is the braids. Normally in these sorts of stories braids are the sign of the plain, boring girl that nobody will ever love and if she's going to grow into a rom-com protagonist she has to get an important haircut which usually ends up being the same boring hime cut that tons of other rom-com protagonists have.

But here she keeps the braids, no attention is called to them at all and they really enhance her cuteness.

The world is still not ready to accept this fact, but braids are the best.
