Yeah like the dialogue has been much more natural so far in the series, so this chapter was really weird

I feel like this manga jumps from one day to the next while skipping a lot of core plot points that should realistically need to be addressed

For example, on the Friday where he was spending time with Family, MC suddenly walked out to spend time with her, when he got back home a conversation worth showing should've happened, the stepsister also said not to disrupt family time and that seems to be exactly what he just did?

Not sure if its because of LN to Manga difference, other than those things, this is pretty interesting, thanks for the translations.

The conversion he has with her in the diner where he comes up with the plan to say “oh yeah I just forgot I had a study date, sorry” was an attempted lamp shade for that lack of consequence, but I get where you’re coming from

I’m guessing the retribution for MC ignoring his family will come when step-sis starts making things harder for him and FMC at or outside of school, possibly in collusion with student council president girl who might not like Mc getting too close to FMC (or vice versa, idk if this is a harem manga I didn’t read the tags)

guys go read the novel, cuz this manga is really crazy and removed a lot of stuff, like when he studied with the girl and wrote a letter on his hand, at that time he fought with his family and ran away to his friend's house and declared a contest with his sister who score more in exams
