Yeah, adapting a manga like this one may seems really simple, but I've seen too many adaptations of SoL that lose the atmosphere that made the manga great in the first place.

The worst mistake they could do is to have a fast paced adaptation : this one really needs enough time to breath and let us feel the romance of small things in life.

I wonder which ones that might be. I do agree, though: this series can only be done justice if it has the same cozy vibes as 1980s-era Postman Pat.

Let's go anime announced! Studio Pine Jam, I hope with all my heart.

Full hopium mode activating right now, but Pine Jam doesn't have any other public ongoing projects atm besides Tortute Princess S2 (which should be wrapping up production soon given the 2025 release date) and that one pokemon animation project they were a part of that released earlier this year.

So it all lines up perfectly with the anime announcement marking the beginning of production for them alongside the end of production for another. Add onto the knowledge that this manga probably isnt big enough bag any of the super studios (like kyoani, pa, or a1) meanwhile Pine Jam is just sitting right there, it all lines up!!!!
