I think they are just those that have the wildest of expectations from a slice of life manga. It’s bound to happen of course, humans can’t unanimously agree on one thing after all.

50k bookmarks for a reason, Author better shell out at least another 50 chapters, would hate to see this one go down the "milking chapters out" route
This might be the most INFURIATING thing I've ever seen, but only because I'm heavily invested in them. The shit that they do is far beyond the realm of being just normal friends so seeing them just doubting themselves is actually making me want to kms.
I really enjoy it though, it's so normal to the point that it's actually kinda interesting? I don't really know how to describe it. I would say that the best thing this manga has is the dynamic of the two characters just talking and stuff.
I would complain that there's really only 2 actual characters and everyone else that appears is just an extra, but that's not exactly a bad thing. This would just have to compensate by making the main characters more interesting and honestly I think it does that well.
I would recommend it. I don't think that it deserves the 9.5 rating that it has but it's definitely good nonetheless. Just read it.

Exactly... This series is fun, a bit childish at times but still fun to read, but author exploits this really annoying premise of taking two 18 yo constantly hanging out, hugging, holding hands, talking to each other like all the time, going on dates (dEtOuRs) and yet at the same time making those two almost adults absolutely dumb, constantly spouting nonsense like "i dont know what he/she feels about me". It's annoying cause we all know that only purpose of this premise is to drag things out forever.
Its good that spenpais graduation is coming cause it looks like it will be some kind of turning point for them.
