I feel like given how their mother has been abusing him this whole time over not living up to the standard of his sister who's a natural-born prodigy, I feel like she oughta be letting him have the whole dating-a-popular-idol thing gracefully and not complain. Dating Kuromiya is not really going to undo the trauma that will be plaguing him for all of his adult life.

If you read the previous chapters, the sister is jealous of him, since she wanted to experience love too, and then her brother managed to get that experience before her. Standard sibling jealously stuff.
