Unfortunately that goes against MangaDex's ToS. There are several other reasons why they're uploaded in parts, but that's the main one. We would love to be able to just put one big chapter out too, it would make life much easier for us.

Proposal: post on MangaDex using the X.1, X.2, X.3 format only after all parts of a chapter are released. That way you uphold Mangadex's rules while providing the full chapter every update. You could even have the scanlator credits pages at the beginning of X.1 and the final credits page at the end of X.3, for example.

While I 100% understand what you are saying, we're not putting a gun to anyone's head to read the part chapters right away. Nobody's forcing you to read it right now.

If this bothers people, there's really nothing keeping them from just waiting until the full chapter is out and reading in one go, is there? It's there for people that want it, if you want a full chapter, just wait. I don't really see the issue.

We can't know the chapter isn't complete until we read it though.

Well, after posing the question twice to 2 separate MD mods, I was told to the contrary. So, we'll be sticking with this method for now. Nothing would make me happier than being told that either I was told wrong, or that things have changed. Do you honestly think im overly happy with posting 8 pages at a time, once a week? I don’t know who’s smoking what but Teas’ quoted message (found previously in this thread) is the intended behavior. There are some caveats to this, but those don’t seem to apply here

It was actually you I spoke to in February with this exact same query, your response at the time...

From my understanding, there are two options here:

1. Post the chapters as they release (if chapter 1 part 1 only has 10 pages, only those 10 pages should be included in the chapter),
2. Post the chapters as they are collected in the volumes (if chapter 1 has 6 parts, combine all 6 parts into one chapter)

Seeing as though it's not released in volume as of yet, I assumed the point 1 was the only option.
The chapter is now available to RP as a whole now, so we will just wait for it to release that way instead.

Thanks for the advice, we've actually managed to source the whole of chapter 3 so hopefully the same place will provide full chapters (in advance too, earlier than the official) from now on.

I see the confusion now. Allow me to edit a word in my original explanation and see if this make sense still:

I appreciate you clearing up my confusion. Like I said above, thankfully, someone has provided a link to get the full chapters ahead of their official release and good quality... so hopefully that continues.
