What bothers me the most about the art is the MC constantly making those goofy faces. Sometimes it’s funny, but he spends almost all the time pulling those faces.

IMO the art overall feels more cartoony, tho I would’ve preferred it to be more stylistic like Panty & Stocking than sloppeh like this. It’s like artist can’t be bothered to draw feet or has anti feet fetish.

I hope this manga is going to be much longer than the other one and hopefully without any defeat the demon lord or magic academy bs, but the other adaptation looked a lot better imo. Lionmaru looks bad. Whats with this super small face. Looks like an ugly cat or a rat and not like a lion.

not sure how i feel about this version... the previous one could go so fast it felt like it was skipping or something (at the very least it was definitely disjointed in some places), but this one is maybe too slow? feels like there's some dead air, at least. also the cute faces generally fit the tone but they're a bit excessive, and this depiction of the terrifying-looking giant lion man just flat out doesn't cut it imo. he looks like shit in all but one panel where he's doing a goofy face. kinda feels like this artist only cares about/is used to drawing women & half-asses the rest via the dumb faces, lol. that's probably why i feel like it's too slow when it'd otherwise be just right- instead of just adding/focusing on fanservice at a normal pace, they're inserting it in a way that accumulates over time to make the chapters slower (e.g. instead of focusing on the women in otherwise non-noteworthy panels, they're inserting extra panels just to put the fanservice in... or something like that.)
