So uh... the villain seems extremely petty huh? Her only reason for doing all this, her obsession with returning to the old world really does seem to be butthurt about a failed relationship, and mistakenly thinking that doing all this will somehow fix it.

And to do that, she's willing to torture, gaslight, maim and manipulate minors, yeah I'm sure your ex is gonna run back into your arms after you did all that, especially with the implication that said ex may well be the guardian of those girls, and is currently observing these horrific acts.

Not a great plan.
