Ahhh reminds me of fishing when I was young, with nothing but a long stick, cheap hook & line, styrofoam float and some worm bait we dig from near the river banks. Though we don't eat the fish, we just fish because it was fun and it was nice feeling when you catch a fish.

This is how you hook a beginner. You don't take her bass fishing or deep sea fishing. You get a small hook like #4 and go fishing for crappie from a dock. Those little fish will hit anything and they're always hungry.
