The honest answer, probably because this manga is more about just guilty pleasure.

And honestly i would for there to be more serious theme on this but on the other hand if it gets too heavy im afraid the drama would be too overwhelming for me

Im pretty sure the reason is more that the wife was a lesbian who settled for the hetero housewife life (at least from what i remember from the oneshot?) either way doesn't it make it right. But i guess the author doesn't address how fucked it is because they chose to write it more from the POV of the housewife, and so far shes only seen the big issue of the jk being a minor (and agonizes about it almost every chapter) but now that the daughter has a crush on her friend and the jk mentioning how this is temporary until the husband returns might let the housewife see the other issues that make this situation fucked. So that's what I'm personally interested to see in the next chapters, will the housewife continue being a degenerate or will she stop, come clean and at least try to end the relationship? tbh i feel like by the end of the manga she will either have ended the relationship but not have come clean OR She'll come clean (not entirely cuz illegal), get divorced and end up with the jk
OR the ultimate scummy ending: keep cheating on her husband even when he returns

tldr the author isn't writing a heavy drama, its about a scummy housewife that doesn't really think about how fucked up the situation is.

Because the husband doesn't matter for this story. He is, narratively speaking, just a prop. Honestly, it feels like [YOU] are the husband. After all NTR is so, so, so popular over there. The set up is perfect for the fetish, I guess.

In the original oneshot Mizuki is explicitly a gay person that wound up married with a kid by just going with the flow of what was expected of her in life. The serialized version hasn't been so explicit on this point, but it has implied that the two of them haven't been intimate since Hazuki was born (17 years). I'm not sure if you can really call it NTR if the two of them are seemingly only together for appearances sake/so that their daughter can grow up with two parents.

You are projecting there. We have Hazuki's words about how Mizuki was under the weather after the husband relocated and she is going out of her way to prepare food for him when she doesn't have to. She immediately told Hinata that her husband was in the picture. Yeah, Mizuki fell for the crazy kid, but she wasn't actively trying to get a lover or whatever the fuck Hinata is for Mizuki currently (she probably doesn't know either).

Regardless, my point was that the husband isn't a character because the narrative doesn't care about it beyond his existence to set up the fetish. This is a cheating manga and that's why it feels like the reader is meant to be the husband, but you could also make a case for Mizuki being the self-insert for a bored and dutiful housewife.

I agree. The reason why cheating moms are my biggest fetish next to incest and yuri, is because I learnt this was a thing from drama shows and manga. The thought of it, as well as how big of a deal they make it, kinda traumatized me for years. When I started to read degenerate materials like H and smut like this, I not only got over this trauma but found it amazing when it doesn't focus too much on the serious stuff.

Since there is no specific category or tags for cheating moms on most H sites, I spend a lot of my time on these sites looking for these kinds of series and bringing them to wider attention.

This series, combing two of my favourite fetishes, gets me excited in multiple ways when new chapters come out!

Honestly I read the wife-husband situation more as a non official divorce and keeping the appearance. She explicitly said that they was no intimacy between them for quite a while and when you combine that with the wife being basically a hidden in the closet lesbian I wouldn't be suprised if they are just going to divorce after her daughter finishes high-school or this delegation is just an excuse for him to have somebody on the side or even a second family/or he is also a homosexual.

They're definitely not just projecting there. It's been explicitly stated that the husband and Mizuki have not been intimate or had sex for the last 17 years, ever since she got pregnant with her daughter. Also, while we can't take the oneshot as 100% canon to the current story, it was stated in the oneshot that Mizuki is a full blown lesbian who only married a man because that's what her family expected of her, which is likely also the case here and just hasn't been delved into yet.
