Ok I don't want to be that guy but I guess I have no choice. This really feels like it's aproaching the one-shot route, although I do apreciate the more developed story. Guess we are up to some really bittersweet ride (I mean it already has been like that since this began).

My memories are a little hazy about this manga, but I think the serialization is not as mature as the oneshot, they toned it down really hard. I mean in the oneshot they were just sex friends, now they are like any other shoujo ai couple.
But even if we are going for that route, I think they will resolve it, so it's not like I am worrying.

Also in the one-shot, they were going out for 5 months, here they just past 1 month but yeah in the OS they had more a sex-friends vibes than a girlfriends. But i don't feel like we go done the OS road, Saeko seem more considerate of Miwa here whereas in the OS she is not. But i still ad a bad feeling about this.

Every chapter there seems to still be people not getting that we're aiming for the one-shot route -- which isn't bad AT ALL.
This chapter will just be the first of many cracks that show up in their relationship, but through it they'll probably grow as people. Besides, as mentioned below, the oneshot had they both already used to relationships and much more confident about their sexuality.

@Onepunchjoey She isn't "not ready for sex"; she's "ambiguous about sex". She wants it but she's afraid, she tells you to go ahead but she probably doesn't mean it, and you could hurt her whether you go ahead or pull back. Be inconsiderate and you could do harm, be considerate and she will get depressed that you're holding back for her sake. It's all very understandable, but it is hard work, and tricky navigation trying to steer between the damned shoals of "if you do" and "if you don't". Particularly hard for a simple straightforward person not used to ambiguity.
Personally, thinking way back to when that kind of thing was an issue, my implicit preferred option was to fool around until both of us were so turned on questions of being scared of any particular next step didn't really come up. Although I did have one girlfriend who had a simple strict rule: Anything went except penetration because she wanted unicorns to still like her.

@Gustbk Dunno, in the first pages of chapter 1 they seem to be together and not had really that much problems. One can argue that the hair are too long for being Saeko but it's not like they had such difference from now and the color match, brown with a black top which is what Saeko's hair look like.
